By what percentage is carpet area of an apartment in Vaswani Brentwood is lesser than the super-built up area and what configurations are on offer? I want to purchase a property for self use.
Rakesh, carpet area is the area enclosed within the walls of a home and can also be considered as livable area. In modern day projects, the carpet area of an apartment can be 20-40 percent lesser than the super built-up area depending upon the city. In Vaswani Brentwood, the livable area of the apartments is 23-24 percent lesser compared to the super built-up area. The project is newly constructed and you can choose between two configurations 2 and 3BHK apartments measuring 1030-1300 sq ft and 1570-1950 sq ft respectively. Going by the current price trends, a resale 2BHK unit will cost you around Rs 55.5 lakh onwards while a 3BHK apartment will cost you around 87.6 lakh onwards.

Does anyone purchased a new apartment here? Please guide me about some of the specifications as I am curious to know about the flooring and electrical.
Dear Shweta, I recently purchased a resale apartment through a broker which was untouched and has not been renovated. On asking about the specifications, the owner informed me that he received a partly furnished property with the following specifications: -RCC framed structure with RCC columns, beams and slabs. -Good quality anti-skid vitrified tile flooring in kitchen/balconies, ceramic tiles in bathroom and utility area and vitrified tiles in all other rooms except master bedroom that had wooden flooring. -Plastic emulsion paint for internal walls and ceilings and exterior emulsion paint for external surfaces -Teak wood main door frame with flush shutters; premium quality hardware fittings for all doors -UPVC sliding windows with clear glass. -Granite counters in bathrooms and kitchen. -ISI marked modular switches and wiring of Anchor or equivalent.
