    Kothrud is a good locality. It is centrally located from all sides to Pune. All facilities like schools, colleges, hospitals, shopping malls, transportation available at a very short distance. Very much residential place and terminals for all Companies, IT sector firms are available at walking distance from this locality.I was staying in this location for more than two years, this place is very calm and peaceful. I still use to go Shivthrith Nagar, as i spend my whole college life. Very good market place, every thing you will get here in walking distance. Restaurants are very clean and hygienic. Very secure location and well connectivity form every part of city.It is peacefully locality residential as well as commercial also. Big bazaar shopping mall here, city pride theater, Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital, MIT College and near by all leaving needs.Show More

    Kothurd locality is good but little harmful for living there and mass areas like.noice polution and traffic also there is very higher than good survives, Finding good residence is a bit difficult. Since it is a prime locality the prices are on the higher side. Rented apartments are available but the locals prefer the tenants to be a family. Bachelors are not very welcome( They are thought to be unruly and noisy).And the Near by area is also very noicy and crowd area from kothurd.Show More

    This place is just absolutely beautiful to live in. The calmness here be it day or night, and yet it doesn’t feel lonely. The architecture you get to observe here is also amazing. Overall a lovely place to stay! There are also many amazing restaurants nearby for all kinds of delicacies and had easy access to all the major places in the city. The traffic situation might get a little troubling in peaks evening hours but you won’t get stuck in it for hours. It’s mostly a flowing traffic Show More

    The only negative that I might’ve come across is that this place is too quiet. Sometimes you go on walks a little after 10 pm and you might not find one soul on the street. The streets are with houses and bungalows on both sides and hence doesn’t feel unsafe as such but yeah that is one negative I believe is observed since we all have habits of living in busy streets all day long.     Metro is 5 mins away. In general a very good and peaceful locality. Elders are very supportive in this community. Huge ground named ideal ground is located right in the middle of ideal colony facilitating sports and the like. Nets are available on this ground which also houses and entertains other sports like football and cricket and crossfit training. Ideal colony is located right in the middle of two prominent roads in Pune namely Paud road and Karve road which makes it a prime location. The neighborhood consists of an apropos of schools - Jog school, BSM school. Since both of these schools also house in - house colleges, this spot is often the prime hub of students. Prominent tuition classes like NM Kulkarni etc and Deshpande classes also add to the plethora of students milling about on this busy road. There are also medical facilities available in walking distance with the Krishna hospital located just within 10 mins of this locality. Have been staying in Ideal colony for 15 years, will surely encourage anyone wanting to move here. Show More

    Have been staying in Ideal colony for a large amount of time but still I have very few complaints about this locality. Since it is located within 10 mins of the newly emerging metro project, many people are foreseeing that the rate of traffic will go up in our internal roads. This may mean that pollution levels will also skyrocket as never before seen in Ideal Colony. Another negative point is that while the ideal colony ground supports all kind of sports (cricket , football , CrossFit , tennis etc) it also attracts people from all over Pune due to its size and the number of sports offered in one location. Although this was not a problem during the pre - covid period , it presents certain challenges now. Also some roads in Ideal Colony are not well lit (not all of them) which has led to some chain - snatching cases and police rounds. The big crux in Ideal colony which is rapidly becoming a problem in the past year is that many buildings in this locality are undergoing reconstruction by prominent builders such as Gokhale construction , Ravetkar construction , Pandit - Jawadekar construction etc. While reconstructing buildings has its advantages in the foreseeable future , right it is the birthplace of large amounts of dust and debris. People in nearby buildings are complaining about noise originating from these sites. Show More
