Mahmoorganj is one of the oldest locality in the central part of Varanasi city. It offers a good mix of independent houses, duplex and multiplex apartments and villas. The neighbours are quite friendly and warm. The nearest airport is the Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport which is about 25 km away. Varanasi Junction Railway Station is about 4 km away. Also, a number of buses run from the locality to different places of the city. Mahmoorganj has a number of schools located within a radius of 3 km. For medical needs, it has a number of great hospitals. To fulfill the shopping needs, there are loads of shopping malls and complex around the locality. There are also located software development companies that provide employment.

When water is scarce, sewage systems can fail and the threat of contracting diseases like cholera surges. Scarce water also becomes more expensive.

The area is unhygienic. The roads are packed with vehicles at peak time causing air and noise pollution. There is not enough parking space. There are occasional power cuts in the area.

Malls, big bazaar and other good shopping stores are within 4 km from here. Nearby is a park which is within walking distance. All the general stores are there at every block located near to each other. People can easily access transports. There are hotels, hospital, and medical stores within walking distance, making it easier for people to buy certain stuff.

Getting a cab is a problem which cannot be booked so easily. There are frequent traffic jams and people do not ride safely which increases the risk of accidents. At night it is not so safe because the streets are not properly lit. Power cut is a common problem which people face from time to time.

There is no traffic on the road in my area.The environment around my house is good because my house is in an open space.There is a petrol pump half a kilometer from our area and there are many banks like State Bank of India, Federal Bank, Bank of India,etc.Due to the convenience of all these banks, whenever I have to do bank related transactions or check the balance It gets done very easily.Around 3 kilometers of my area, there are many malls like IP Mall,PDR etc. In front of my house there is a temple of Hanuman ji and Shiva ji, which is very beautiful and good. There are many schools 5 kilometers away from my house. So it is 100 meters from my house. This school has classes from 1 to 12.There is a big ground in our area,in which children come to play and the old people come for a walk.

Road is not built properly in our area,there are pits everywhere. There is a fear of accident every day.Many times an accident has also taken place but when the road is built it is dug the next day. The sewer also flows on that road, that sewer smells very bad.When the drain is cleaned it remains fine but after a few days it starts flowing again.There is an ATM machine in my area, but it does not always have a balance. Sometimes the machine itself is defective, so that the passbook cannot be printed.There are many potholes on the road of our area, which causes problems for pedestrians.Sometimes the stone pierces at the feet.There is always an accident when going by bicycle.There are other problems when walking on the road.

A wonderful & peacefull place to live because of easy availability of : #1 Foods and Restaurants (well decorated,clean,veg/nonveg foods,open 12×7). #2 Hotels (Easily accessible,good availability,clean & hygiene,good location,having normal price). #3 Groceries & Mall (markets at a hand,with full availability of items) #4 Transport (No issues as 24×7 cabs and autos are available, nearby petrol pumps) #5 Environment (Mahmoorganj:Some of the least polluted areas of Varanasi) #6 Others (An Economic zone consisting:ATMs,Bank,School, Hospitals;well connected to trains and buses,Temples,Parks,Zim,Salons,Parlours and Malls fulfill out the rest of facilities)

Huge traffic during peak hours and festivals which causes lot of pollution, Due to construction work...you might face dust pollution

Markets at a walkable distance, All type of shopkeepers are in this area. And the main Markets are near above as like Manduadih station. Lots of temples are here which sounds very peaceful.

The roads are in very poor condition right now. Actually street roads. just because of this there are no parking area here. If we want to purchase four-wheeler vehicles so we have to stand that in near colonies.

Bahut badhiya haiAmar Colony is a very clean and secure location. It is near to the markets. It is easy to commute from here through metro and buses, the best part is of the main market at walking distance.

Hospitals and banks are nearby. Here are shopping malls such as trends and many more. Grocery shops are available at just a distance of 1-2 km. Totally safe environment and one can go outside at late night .

There is frequent traffic and no parks nearby and if there are some they aren't well maintained. Overall it's a good area where one can live. I only dislike these two things about this locality.

Area of the mahmoorganj in Varanasi is really very good because we get different hospital good school no travelling issue easily get ola uber.Mall and essential store and shops are available near to it.You going to get every facilities in this area easily and very reasonable cost.

According to no major negative point for this area but during monsoon because of heavy rain water accumulation occur but for few min only nothing else.

Mahmoorganj is very posh location. It is a very prime and decent locality with good environment. very popular local market of Varanasi.All modern facilitates like all banks, gym, shops, marts, malls, hotel's everything you need you will get at nearest. Transport facility is also good in this locality.

This area is very very rush area. There is very huge traffic jam at peak hours. Roads are not so good
