raghavbhati@Nagbhushan, The Stamp Paper value (Stamp Duty) depends upon State to State.
For example in Delhi, the Stamp Paper amount provided by Government for Agreement is Rs. 50/- where as in Bangalore Rs. 20/-.
However after introducing e-stamp paper (electronically paying stamp duty), no fixed denomination is left. One can purchase Stamp paper of any amount.But still it is always recommended to pay appropriate stamp duty to the Government as in future if any legal crises arise then Court can charge fine up to 10 times of the stamp duty amount to be paid.
