Uttar Pradesh is set to get a major infrastructure boost as Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched infrastructure projects involving an investment of Rs 60,000 crore in the State. Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UPRERA) has received incomplete details of almost 250 ongoing projects across the state. The Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UPRERA) will be soon set up its permanent office in Gomti Nagar, Lucknow. The regulatory authority was functioning temporarily at Awas Bandhu, Janpath market, Lucknow. The Uttar Pradesh government has decided to digitise land records in 70 districts across the state at an estimated cost of Rs 15.71 crore. For the proposed project, the central government would extend an aid of Rs 10.5 crore while the state government has decided to bear the remaining cost of Rs 5.21 crore. Property e-registry in Uttar Pradesh to begin from Nov 2017

The Uttar Pradesh government has decided to start online registration of land for both, residential and commercial projects from November 2017 onwards. The pilot project for e-registry will run in 11 districts, including Lucknow, Ghaziabad, Jaunpur, Mathura, Gorakhpur, Barabanki, Bareilly, Bahraich, Kasganj, Nawabganj and Moradabad.
