The Andhra Pradesh government has finally launched its official RERA website for registration of ongoing real estate projects and agents under Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act (RERA). The Act was notified a year back aimed at overhauling the real estate sector by enhancing transparency and accountability of all stakeholders.  As per available data on Andhra Pradesh RERA website, a total of 61 applications have been received for registration of projects under the Act. Hyderabad: Rajendranagar to be developed as next IT hub

The Telangana government is planning to develop a new information technology (IT) hub in Rajendranagar in Hyderabad. About 350 acres of land has been parked between Budwel and Kismatpur for the development of an upcoming IT cluster. The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) will soon assign digital addresses to all households falling under its jurisdiction. The Authority will carry out a pilot project in Moosapet and will assign all houses within GHMC limits with a unique number. The system would help the civic body to generate more revenue as a property tax. Till now, the GHMC has failed to collect expected property tax due to lack of proper house numbers in several parts of the city. Centre approves Rs 5500 crore regional road project in Hyderabad

The Central Government has allocated Rs 5,500 crore for the development of the Hyderabad Regional Ring Road (RRR). The Hyderabad Regional Ring Road will be around 300 km long with 60 metres width. The proposed road project will connect the major National Highways including NH-9, NH-7 and NH-202. Apartments exceeding 10 flats to be registered under Telangana RERA

All apartments exceeding 10 flats will now have to get registered under the Telangana Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act (Telangana RERA).
