The Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) is planning to hold an auction of 100-acre land from the land pool allocated for the Global City project. Officials have stated that the auction will be carried out in phases. In the first phase, the Corporation will put 20 acres of land parcel adjoining the Dwarka Expressway for the auction.
Manoj Pal Singh, Additional General Manager, HSIIDC, has informed that registrations for the first round of the auction is open and buyers can register for the auction until December 13, 2017. The procedure and details for the registration are available on the HSIIDC portal. The HSIIDC would plan the subsequent auctions after considering the response of the first auction, adds Singh.
The to-be-auctioned land comes under mixed-use development and is also applicable for benefits under the transit-oriented development (TOD) policy. Experts claim the land should at least be worth around Rs 100 crore considering the prevailing rate of Rs 5 crore per acre. However, the Corporation has not the reserve price for the auction and kept it open.
