How to apply for EWS certificate in Punjab?

Getting an EWS certificate in Punjab is an offline process till date. Although it is not complex, applicants can get their EWS certificate by following the steps below:

Step :1 Begin by downloading the Income and Assets form for the EWS certificate from the official website of the Punjab government.

Step 2: Print out the form and complete all required details, including beneficiary information, applicant details, service details, and family details. Also, make sure to fill out the attached self-declaration forms that come with the downloaded copy.

Step 3: Thoroughly fill out both Part 1 and Part 2 of the form.

Step 4: Visit your nearest Seva Kendra and submit the completed form.

Step 5: You will be charged a nominal facilitation fee of Rs 50, which is required to process the certificate.

Step 6: Upon submission, you will receive a confirmation receipt from the Seva Kendra. The certificate is expected to be generated within seven to 10 working days.
