Delhi government transfers 95 rural villages to DDA

In a bid to safeguard government-owned parcels in the areas, the Delhi government transferred 95 rural villages to the revenue department. These villages have been declared as ‘developed’ and transferred to the DDA for the purpose of land pooling in the future. “Under the panchayat department, the gram sabha land has to be handed over to DDA once the villages are declared as development area”, elaborated a source....
