The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has launched its housing scheme for 2019 where the authority will grant allotment of 17,922 flats across four categories - Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Lower-Income Group (LIG), Middle-Income Group (MIG), and Higher-Income Group (HIG). To apply for the scheme, the applicant needs to furnish all requisite details along with required documents on the DDA official site. Applicants can apply online for DDA housing scheme 2019. All the houses are located in Narela and Vasant Kunj.

Under the DDA housing scheme 2019, there are as many as 152 2BHK flats falling under the HIG category. These flats will cost around Rs 95 lakh to Rs 1.4 crore depending on the location. Under the same category, the authority is offering 336 3BHK flats that are priced between Rs 1.43 crore to Rs 1.73 crore. All HIG flats are located in Vasant Kunj.

If an applicant is applying under the MIG category, DDA is offering 1,555 2BHK flats, which range between Rs 66 lakh to Rs 99 Lakh. All the 1BHK apartments, under the LIG category, will cost between Rs 23 lakh and Rs 56 lakh. A total of 8,383 LIG flats will be offered. Under the EWS category, about 7,496 flats will be allotted. All EWS flats will be priced around Rs 10 lakh up to Rs 19 lakh. Majority of the MIG, LIG and all the EWS flats are located in the Narela.

DDA housing scheme 2019: Online application

This time, DDA has decided to go digital. Applicants can only apply online. For applying online, he/she is required to visit DDA's official website - CLICK HERE. One person can submit one application only either in his/her own name or as a joint applicant.

DDA housing scheme 2019: Registration fees

An applicant needs to pay the registration fee to apply for housing units under the scheme.

  • For the EWS/Janta category, you need to pay Rs 25,000.
  • For 1BHK flat, an applicant would be charged Rs 1 lakh as registration fee.
  • In the case of 2BHK and 3BHK flats, Rs 2 lakh would be deposited as application money.

DDA housing scheme 2019 Eligibility

  • An applicant must be 18 years of age.
  • An applicant CANNOT apply if he or his immediate family member, including husband, wife, and unmarried kids, does not own a property in full or in part; on freehold or leasehold basis; a residential plot or flat having carpet area over 67 sq m in the urban area of Delhi, New Delhi and Delhi Cantonment.
  • If you are applying under EWS category, an applicant's income SHOULD NOT exceed Rs 3 lakh per annum.

DDA housing scheme 2019: Documents required

At the time of allotment, eligible applicants are required to furnish certain documents. Following are the documents that the applicant has to submit -

  • PAN card
  • An identity proof - Passport, Election ID, Driving License, Ration Card or Aadhaar Card.
  • For applicants applying for EWS flats, they will have to submit the proof of income.

DDA housing scheme 2019 draw date

All the eligible applicants will be considered for allotment through a computerised draw in the presence of independent observers. The draw results will be published on DDA’s website. An email and SMS will also be forwarded to each applicant. The lottery draw is expected to come out by the end of June 2019.

DDA housing scheme 2019 winner list

Once the authority announces the draw result, the winner list will be published on the DDA official portal. The list will be displayed on the Notice Board of DDA at Vikas Sadan, D Block, INA, New Delhi – 110023. In addition, the result will also be published in leading national Newspapers.
