What is the rate of stamp duty and registration cost of buying a flat in kolkata?

I have heard that that rate of registration cost has been increased in buyinf flat.

1) If sell is within 25 lacs
A) 6% percent stamp duty
B) 1% percent registration charges.

2) If it is more than 25 lacs
A) 7%t stamp duty
B) 1.1% registration charges

Ayan Hi Pabitra, as mentioned in earlier post by RealRam, for joint applicant it is 6%, is it for below 25 lakhs? if more than 25 lakhs, what is the percentage

Subrat Babu Hi,
I bought an apartment few months in Kolkata back and it will be ready for possession next January 2016. I havent yet done the registration for it. The only document i have is the Sale Agreement between me and the builder. I have taken a home loan for the flat from INDIA BULLS HOME LOAN for 15 laces out of which 14 laces have been disbursed to the builder already. Now, I got an Opportunity to move abroad and want to sell off the flat. I want to sell before i incur the cost of registration.

Id like to know what the procedure is to make such a sale. Do i have to involve the builder in this or can i by virtue of the Sale Agreement just transfer over my rights to the buyer? What would be the tax implications? Will it be any problem with INDIA BULLS HOME LOAN if i ask them to let the buyer take over my loan (of course provided he meets the eligibility criteria)?
