For investment purpose, Noida is better because of affordable prices and planned development. You can go for Noida Extension as a lot of development is going on this region. The region has both ready to move and under construction property which are nearing possession in the next two years. At this rate of development, 70 per cent of Noida Extension will get developed. In terms of appreciation, Noida Extension never failed to impress investors. The prices here will shoot up once the infrastructure gets better. However, Yamuna Expressway is in news because of the presence of F1 Track, proposed airport, international universities, big industries, IT companies etc. The place is at nascent stage of development and will take a lot of time to yield good return on investment. So, I suggest you to go with Noida extension.
